So Saturday we decided to go and hike to Timpanogos Cave since it was a No-Fee weekend at the National Parks. Well we got there a little before 9 am and there were already no tickets left. So we decided to go to the closest trailhead and we started hiking. This is about how far we got before it started sprinkling. You can see the parking lot where we parked down in the right corner.
So we decided to turn back. But then it stopped raining. What to do? Keep going or just head back to the car, since it was pretty cold and the weather still looked pretty bad?
We decided to just head back to the car since we didn't even know where this trail led anyways.
Christian even decided to climb a tree on our way back down.
I was scared he was going to fall. It looks like he is going to in the picture, but he was just messing with me.
I decided to get close to nature too. But on the ground, not in a tree.
So we finally made it to the car. And within seconds, it started pouring down rain, with a little hail mixed in. I, for one, am glad we didn't get tickets to hike to the caves. Because we definitely would have gotten soaked on the way up. Blessings in disguise :)
